Enabling Enhanced Insight Validation

Enable your users to validate insights beyond the 'Confirmed' stage as follows:

• Goal: 'Unconfirmed' → 'Confirmed' → 'Achieved'

• Pressure: 'Unconfirmed' → 'Confirmed' → 'Resolved'

• Initiative: 'Unconfirmed' → 'Confirmed' → 'Completed'

• Obstacle: 'Unconfirmed' → 'Confirmed' → 'Overcome'

• Solution: 'Unconfirmed' → 'Confirmed' → 'Implemented'

Validated insights (such as an obstacle set to 'Overcome') are marked with a tick icon and highlighted in green on your insight map - as shown in the example below.

To enable validation, do the following:

1. In Setup, find and select Custom Settings.
2. Click Manage beside Altify Insights Settings.
3. Click Edit.
4. Select the Enable Insight Map Validation check box.
5. Click Save.

Note the validation labels can be updated to better represent your org's processes. The following are the relevant labels:

• COMPLETED_GOAL

• COMPLETED_PRESSURE

• COMPLETED_INITIATIVE

• COMPLETED_OBSTACLE

• COMPLETED_SOLUTION

• INSIGHT_ACHIEVED_BY

• INSIGHT_RESOLVED_BY

• INSIGHT_COMPLETED_BY

• INSIGHT_OVERCOME_BY

• INSIGHT_IMPLEMENTED_BY
